This ebook contains the law current through the end of November 2019. Many changes were recently made to the Federal Regulations by the Department of Homeland Security, and they are included.
8 CFR/USC Hyperlinked includes the complete text of the Code of Federal Regulations Title 8 Aliens and Nationality (8 C.F.R.) and the complete text of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 as amended (Title 8 Chapter 12 of the United States Code).
Without both the US Code (INA) and the Code of Federal Regulations it is not possible to get a complete and thorough understanding of the Regulations and Code. This version has been reformatted for easier reading. All citations and definitions within 8 CFR and Title 8 USC have been hyperlinked.
Title 8 Code of Federal Regulations includes Chapters I and V which reference both the INA and USC Title 8 throughout. Each reference and authority listed is Hyperlinked back to the full text of the INA or Code. The reader can easily see the relationship between the INA/Code and the Regulation.
Title 8 United States Code includes Chapters 12, 13, 14, and 15. The INA (Immigration and Nationality Act) is classified principally to Chapter 12 of Title 8 USC. The INA and the Code are converted to easily reference the INA Section to the Code Section. For Example, Section 101 of the INA is listed with 8 USC 1101 in the Heading: [§101(a)/§1101(a). Definitions.] This is extremely helpful when citations are needed.
Title 22 Code of Federal Regulations includes select sections of the Department of State title which is also hyperlinked to the INA.
Included are 54 important cases cited from the Supreme Court and precedent decisions of the BIA which have been incorporated in the appropriate code section. The table of contents USC section can be used as a handy INA to 8 USC Conversion table.
